Khatu Shyamji Temple is popular for the annual fair that takes in the month of either February or March. The fair commences from Phalgun Sudi Dashmi and continues upto Dwadashi.

Rituals
The devotees come to Khatu Shyamji to offer prayers to Shyam form of Krishna. The fair showcases many traditional religious rituals of the local people. Apart from being a place of pilgrimage, a large number of people come for performing ageold tradition of shaving off hairs of their children for the first time in a ceremony called ‘the Jadula ceremony’.
Celebrations
The people participate in the fair with a great zeal, vivacity and resplendence. Beautifully decorated shops, swings, plays, Tamashas and sweet tidbits attract not only children but also everyone who comes to this fair. Children enjoy Joy rides very much; they are also part of Khatu Shyamji fair in Rajasthan.
